Double car collision on Center Street


MERIDEN — Two cars collided on Center Street Friday afternoon, causing one person to be taken away on a stretcher and placed in a waiting ambulance. Both cars came to a stop on the northbound side of the median line but were pointed in the southbound direction.

Engine Co. 3 of the Meriden Fire Department responded to the accident, along with several police units.
