Meriden woman faces sexual assault charge


MERIDEN — A local woman accused of having a sexual relationship with a 15 year old was released Friday on $10,000 bond.

Danielle Potvin, 25, of 353 Glen Hills Road, was charged Thursday with second-degree sexual assault and risk of injury to a minor.

Sgt. Darrin McKay, police spokesman, said the relationship was consensual and declined to release any other information.

Potvin appeared in Superior Court Friday and was released on $10,000 bond. Her case was continued until Jan. 31.
