Police to host annual bike rodeo June 21


MERIDEN — The police department will host it’s annual bike rodeo at the end of the month.

The event is scheduled for June 21 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Meriden parking garage on Church Street. The event will cover bicycle helmet safety, a bicycle safety check, an obstacle course and a safety course.

Children must wear a helmet to participate in the obstacle and safety courses. Helmets can be purchased from the Meriden Health Department for $10.
