Woman hurt trying to break up dog fight at Meriden Humane Society


MERIDEN — A woman was sent to Yale-New Haven Hospital after being injured while trying to intervene in a fight between two dogs at the Humane Society on Murdock Avenue Wednesday evening.

Meriden Fire Lt. Michael Fisette said the victim suffered injuries to her arm and finger and had bite marks in various other locations from the incident, which occurred just after 5 p.m.
