BERLIN — Police are investigating after a man fired shots at another vehicle during a road rage incident on the Berlin Turnpike Tuesday afternoon. A bullet was recovered from a vehicle, police noted.

Police responded to the Route 372 exit ramp shortly before 1 p.m. and found evidence of gunshots, said Lt. Chris Ciuci.

Officers determined that two vehicles were involved and left prior to police arriving, Ciuci said.

The man who police say fired the shots has a dark skin complexion and is in his mid 20s or early 30s with a chin strap beard, police noted. He was wearing a black and gold baseball hat and was driving a silver Honda CRV. A black handgun was shown, and casings were recovered at the scene. One bullet was recovered from the victim’s vehicle.

Anyone with information is asked to contact police at 860-828-7080.
