‘Bark for your park’ in Wallingford on Saturday


WALLINGFORD - The Wallingford Dog Lovers Association is sponsoring a “doggie walk” on Center Street Saturday morning to raise awareness about a new dog park on Quinnipiac Street.

The association is asking pets and their owners to meet at the Fishbein Gazebo at Center Street and Route 5 at 10 a.m. The group will be walking up to North Main Street and back to the gazebo.

Work recently began on the new dog park, which is not expected to open for several months. The Dog Lovers Association is beginning to raise funds to complete the project.
