SOUTHINGTON — A former town resident faces charges after police say 48 images of suspected child pornography were found in a garage on Woodruff Street.

Gary Termine, 52, of Clark Hill Road, East Hampton, was charged Friday with second-degree illegal possession of child pornography.

On April 26, a caller reported finding the photographs of suspected child pornography in boxes in the detached garage on Woodruff Street, said Sgt. Jeffry Dobratz. Termine previously lived in the house.

Termine was released after posting $100,000 bond and is due to appear in Bristol Superior Court on July 10.
