Durham Egg Hunt 2017

Record-Journal

The Durham Recreation Commission held its annual Easter Egg Hunt on April 15 at Allyn Brook Park.

Children in 5 different age categories hunted for 1080 colored eggs and 20 golden eggs. The golden eggs led to prizes.

This was the first time the Recreation Commission held the Egg Hunt on the second Saturday of vacation week. Recreation Director Sherry Hill said she did not notice a difference in participation and was happy with the nice late April weather for the event.
