Coginchaug Soccer Club has partnered with the New England Revolution Player Development Program for the fall 2016 program. Players learn all aspects of the game: ball mastery, speed of play, movement on and off the ball and coordination and balance. A fee is charged.The K-second grade clinic will be run by the Revolution’s Technical Staff with the help of parent volunteers. The Technical Staff will also provide technical and developmental support to all fall travel teams and coaches. Soccer teams are available from pre-K to U15 (open to all non-high school students born between Jan. 1, 2002 to Dec. 31, 2012.) The pre-K program will continue to participate in the Dinomites program. Register at coginchaugsoccer.org. Registration deadline is Aug. 15. The annual membership meeting is scheduled for Sunday, July 10, 7 p.m., at the Middlefield Community Center. Prospective travel coaches should attend.
