HAMDEN — Authorities say a Wallingford man faces charges after he hiked naked at Sleeping Giant State Park.

Anthony Ingraham, 57, of Wallingford, was charged by warrant Tuesday with two counts of public indecency. Ingraham turned himself in at state police Troop I in Bethany, according to a statement from the state Department of Energy and Environmental Protection. He posted $10,000 bond and is due in Meriden Superior Court on June 19.

A woman told DEEP environmental conservation officers that a man, later identified as Ingraham, exposed himself to her and was hiking naked in Sleeping Giant State Park in Hamden on April 1 and April 9, the statement said.

DEEP officers and members of the state police western district major crime squad investigated.
