A colonial in Meriden with a large backyard, a stylish condominium in Wallingford with recent updates, a 10-room home in Southington with gorgeous views and a newer home in an age-restricted community in Cheshire with all the amenities recently sold in the region.

Kathleen Hotchkiss recently sold a 1,912-square-foot colonial at 6 Walt Drive in Meriden to Justin Martin for $300,000. The house, off Miller Avenue, features three bedrooms, 2½ bathrooms, an open floor plan and a large backyard with a patio and deck.

Ashley Afonso recently bought a three-bedroom colonial-style condo in Wallingford from Michael and Everett Shaw for $265,000. The 1,548-square-foot condo, at 4 Old Village Circle, is located in Old Village Commons and features a deck. It was recently painted and features newer wood floors as well as a full and half bathroom.

Andrew MacTaggart and Juliana Carrillo recently purchased a 10-room, five-bedroom colonial at 126 Roaring Brook Drive in Southington that features a mahogany deck looking over manicured grounds, a pond and a brook. They recently purchased the 3,198-square-foot home for $500,000 from Thomas and Wendy Divito. The 2.7-acre property is secluded and offers natural scenery easily viewed through large windows. The living room features a vaulted ceiling with skylights. A large sun rooms also looks out on the grounds.

In Cheshire, James Clarke, Jr. recently purchased a 2,510-square-foot home at 91 Boxwood Row from Rosow Living Trust for $525,000. The house features view of nature and the 55-plus community includes a nature walk through the woods along the Quinnipiac River. There are three bedrooms, 2.5 bathrooms, a finished basement and a fireplace.
