Hazardous weather and air quality alert issued today


The National Weather Service has issued a hazardous weather outlook and an air quality alert for today.

The air quality alert is in effect from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m., and means that the ozone within the region may approach or exceed unhealthy standards.

The hazardous weather outlook is due to temperatures between 90 and 95 degrees heat index forecast to be in the mid to upper 90’s.
