Wedge pockets another win

MERIDEN — Spencer Wedge continues to have the hot hand at Hunter Golf Club.

A week after winning his first City of Meriden championship, Wedge teamed with Mike Deegan, Ed Woronick and Jim Lewis to Hunter’s ABCD Stableford Tournament this past weekend.

And, as he did in the city tournament, Wedge made a runner-up of 10-time city champ Les Zimmerman, who placed second in the Stableford with Bill McGinn, Don Lamb and Rich Hart.

The team of Paul Bernier, Fred Lord and Mike Buccilli and Larry Kendzior placed third.
