Blue Knights hoop sponsoring toy drive

SOUTHINGTON — The Southington boys basketball team is sponsoring a toy drive to coincide with its upcoming CCC West games with Conard on Friday, Jan. 31.

Fans are asked to bring new, unwrapped toys to the freshmen (3:45 p.m.), JV (5:15 p.m.) or varsity (7 p.m.) games that day at Southington High School.

The toys will benefit The Mill Foundation for Kids, a charity dedicated to improving the lives of children with cancer and other illnesses and funding research into pediatric illnesses. Visit millfoundation.org.
