Southington sports passes available


SOUTHINGTON — Family passes and senior gold cards to Southington High School sporting events for the 2014-15 school year will be available starting Monday.

Passes and cards will be sold in the athletic office Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The family pass costs $110 and covers admission for immediate family members to volleyball, football, basketball and wrestling contests, as well as any night games starting at 5 p.m. or later.

Individual adult ($45) and student ($30) passes are also available.

Senior gold cards are issued free of charge to Southington residents ages 62 and over. Proof of age and residency is required. Those who already have gold cards do not need new ones.

Passes and cards are good for regular-season events only. CIAC tournament games and the Thanksgiving football game are excluded.
