One-car accident in Wallingford


WALLINGFORD — Police suspect alcohol was a factor in a one-car acccident on Jody Drive Wednesday night.

A car smashed into a tree at about 8 p.m. The male driver was taken to MidState Medical Center with minor injuries.

Lt. Rick Homestead said it appears the driver was under the influence of alcohol and police intend to bring charges.
