Man arrested for narcotics possession in school zone


WALLINGFORD — A local man was arrested Wednesday evening on narcotics possession charges.

Police Lt. Rick Homestead said Adam Sage, 35, of 16 Mellor Rd. was apprehended by the department’s narcotics unit at about 5:30 p.m. and charged with two counts of possession of narcotics, possession of narcotics within 1,500 feet of a school and driving an unregistered vehicle.

Sage was released on a $1,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in Meriden Superior Court on May 2.
