Congratulations and thank you to Joseph Annunziata, who recently retired from the Berlin Police Commission after 15 years of faithful and dedicated service.
Mr. Annunziata is no stranger to service to his country and community. A United States Air Force veteran, he served 30 years with the Berlin Police Department, and was a member of the Berlin Board of Education and various other committees.
Mr. Annunziata has continually strived to make Berlin a safe and better place to live.
I’d like to take a moment to thank members of our community for supporting our family during these challenging times. Our daughter Reagan’s recent birthday should have been a bust; social distancing and pouring rain. But it turned out to be one of the best!
A vehicle parade passed the house, and making it even more awesome were the appearances by the Berlin police department and VFD.
We are indeed fortunate to have people who not only keep us safe, but make us smile, too. Thanks to our bravest and finest.

The findings concerning voter violations/irregularities cited by Linda Synkowicz in her commentary of May 14, are, as I think we would all agree, quite serious and possibly bordering on criminal.
I would hope that Ms. Synkowicz and the non-profit she cites have made this information available to registrars of the concerned towns and cities, the Secretary of State and the Attorney General or state prosecutor.
It would be a disservice if all this information/evidence in their possession was not put to good use for the benefit of Connecticut citizens.
