Three Berlin High School students earned recognition at the Connecticut Regional Scholastic Art Awards, a professionally-juried event which recognizes the best artwork from across the state.

BHS artists Karla Oyola and Alyssa Castellano, both seniors, and Addison Szczesniak, who is a freshman, earned honorable mention at the competition, and their work was then displayed at a gallery show on the University of Hartford campus.

A virtual awards ceremony will take place Saturday, Feb. 12.
