Ford facility breaks ground in Berlin

On Tuesday, Nov. 8, Tasca Ford Berlin broke ground at 250 Webster Square Road on a Ford Pro Elite Commercial Service Facility, the first in New England.

Joined by Berlin Mayor Mark Kaczynski, Town Manager Arosha Jayawickrema and Economic Development Director Chris Edge, Tasca family members celebrated this important commitment to the Berlin community and highlighted details of the 32,600 square-foot future facility.

“The Tasca family has been part of Berlin not just in the automotive and commercial truck business but in the community impact business as well. They support various activities and organizations throughout our community. This expansion demonstrates their continued commitment to Berlin,” Kaczynski stated.

Ford Pro Elite Commercial Service Facility customers will find trained technicians, extended hours, mobile service, state-of-the-art equipment and more.

The facility is also expected to create upwards of 15 new jobs.

“For over 70 years our family has been committed to the community and servicing the New England market,” said Bob Tasca III, president. “We’re here to support our commercial customers’ needs through the addition of this Ford Pro Elite Service offering. We welcome all commercial customers. Whether you are an owner of one unit or a fleet of 50, keeping you on the road is important to us.”

Ford Pro plans to establish 120 Elite Commercial Service facilities nationally along with 1,200 mobile service units.
