State Rep. Veach begins tenure

Donna Veach was sworn into office Wednesday morning, Jan. 6 beginning her first term as state representative of the 30th District.

“I am extremely honored to have the opportunity to represent the residents of Berlin and Southington over the next two years and I’m hoping to bring a fresh perspective and new voice to issues important to our state and local communities,” said Veach, a Republican. “One of my top priorities this session will be to address the drastic increase in car burglaries and thefts happening not only in our towns but throughout the state.”

This legislative term, Veach will serve on the Judiciary, Education and Planning & Development committees.

The 2021 regular legislative session, which began Jan. 6, is scheduled to run through June 9.

Veach would like to encourage anyone with issues, concerns, or bill proposal suggestions to reach out to her via RepVeach.com or at 800-842-1423.
