Adam P. Salina has served on the Berlin Board of Education since 2018.
A graduate of Berlin High School, Salina attended Stanford University on a football scholarship and earned a degree in psychology.
Following college, Salina signed as a free agent with the Green Bay Packers (1997), Dallas Cowboys (1997) and San Francisco 49ers (1998).
At the age of 28, Salina was elected Mayor of Berlin and would serve five terms (2003-2013).
Currently, Salina does government relations/lobbying work as principal with Kozak & Salina, LLC, and serves on the Board of Directors with the Community Foundation of Greater New Britain.
Salina and his wife, Danielle, have three daughters in the Berlin school system: Olivia, Julia and Bella. Danielle Salina is a Library Media Specialist at McGee Middle School.
