On Tuesday, Aug. 11 you will have an opportunity to vote for Donna Veach, the endorsed Republican candidate for state representative for the 30th District, Berlin and Southington.
Donna Veach is the Republican candidate who can win in November and provide conservative, ethical representation to a district that has, for too long, been represented by a tax-and-spend Democrat.
Donna is committed to providing transparency in government, and will represent our interests, not special interests, when elected in November.
Donna's current position as development/marketing director for the New Britain Youth Museum and Hungerford Nature Center requires her to use her business background; as every penny counts in a non-profit organization, and there is no room for wasteful spending.
Donna and her husband, a Berlin police officer, have raised three daughters in Berlin, so Donna knows how hard it is to manage a household budget as well. That is why she is committed to transparency in state government and will work to reign in the state's bloated budget.
Donna's three daughters attended Berlin public schools, so providing a quality education is another priority for her.
There’s a saying: "If you want something done, ask a busy woman." This expression fits Donna Veach perfectly.
Donna needs your support, so please be sure to vote for her in the Aug. 11 primary.

It is my honor to write in support of the candidacy of Jim Townsley for State Representative of the 30th District.
I’ve known Jim well for more than a decade. We have worked together on several political campaigns — my own included – and we have discussed for many hours matters of our society and our souls. I would stake my life on Jim’s honesty and integrity.
It’s not hard to sound principled when you’re running for office; the trick is staying the course when pressure comes. Jim Townsley knows all about that, in politics and in life. I have no doubt he will remain true to the conservative beliefs we share: respect for the Constitution and the wisdom of our nation’s founders, and faith in the principles of personal liberty, economic opportunity and fiscal prudence that can still restore our state.
I urge those who share my political vision to join me in voting for Jim Townsley in the Republican Primary on Tuesday, Aug. 11. He is a leader we can rely on.

On Tuesday, Aug. 11, voters can begin the process of reclaiming the state from reckless, free-spending leadership.
It has been my privilege to serve on the Berlin Town Council with Donna Veach this past year. I have witnessed first-hand, her conservative values and strong leadership skills.
Donna is the endorsed Republican candidate for the 30th District.
We cannot afford to miss the opportunity to have Donna represent Berlin and Southington in this election.
Please vote for Donna in the Republican primary on Aug. 11.
