Five ‘aces’ recorded at Timberlin in 2021

According to PGA.com, 450 million rounds of golf are played in the U.S. each year, but a hole-in-one is celebrated only once every 3,500 rounds.

Yes, the likelihood of carding an “ace” are not high; only about 1 percent of average golfers get one each year.

This past season at Timberlin, five players defied the odds. They are: Dave Miller (Hole 4), Bob Malchiodi (Hole 12), Howie Busse (Hole 7), Brendan Burke (Hole 16) and Bill Ferrero (Hole 4).
