Starting a new restaurant is almost always a little bit risky, but add a pandemic to the mix and it’s no small feat. Yet, some restaurant owners have taken on the challenge and opened over the summer. Here are some of the new foods you can try.

Atif Anwar and his wife Nina’s restaurant was only open for a week before the pandemic closed all local restaurants to dine-in customers. Although Anwar can cook all types of food— Italian, Mexican, Chinese— the couple chose to focus on Pakistani food, mixing a variety of very traditional regional dishes with newer, unique ones.
