Holy week, Easter Sunday and Passover will look different this year for many families. Here are some restaurants and bakeries offering special holiday menus. 

Paul Gregory’s Bistro Cafe, Southington:

The  menu includes several options for breads, main dishes, sides and desserts. Entrees range from cherry-cola glazed pit ham, pizzagaina, and pork loin roast. Sides include scalloped potatoes, honey-glazed carrots and green beans almondine. Easter dinner for one includes ham, scalloped potatoes and honey-glazed carrots. 

Desserts include Easter cupcakes, hot cross buns, Italian ricotta Easter cookies and pies and cheesecake. 

Paul’s is also selling Easter Cookie Kits for $12.99 each, or two for $25.00. Kit includes five sugar cookies, three colored icings, and four assorted decorative toppings. Call to pre-order kits for curbside pickup or free delivery. Easter meal orders must be placed by today.

Casa di Mia at the Hawthorne, Berlin: 

Three course family-style meals include options for various groups of people, from two to six. Meal choices include garlic rosemary lamb, grilled beef tenderloin, honey baked ham, pasta with meatballs, fried mixed fish and more. Most come with a side of vegetables, pasta and/or salad. Desserts include assorted cookies, mini cakes, mini cannoli and cream puffs. Add a red or white table wine for $10 each. 

Orders must be placed by Wednesday. Pickup must be between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. Easter Sunday.

Viron Rondo Osteria, Cheshire: 

The full menu is available, as well as a special Easter menu. Entrees each serve six people. Choose from Nodine’s Applewood smoked ham, herb-marinated leg of lamb, and grass-fed beef short ribs with a variety of sides. For example, the ham comes with baby carrots, peas cippolini onions and asparagus with pineapple glazes and roasted potato medley. Entrees range from $200 to $250. 

Order by Thursday. Pickup available on Sunday from noon to 6 p.m.

Dad’s Restaurant, Wallingford: 

Easter to-go menu includes options for different sized groups, from $12.95 per person to $125 for 10 people. 

Options include a baked spiral ham or oven roasted turkey with corn, mashed potatoes, dinner rolls, and carrots. Sides include different kinds of lasagna, green bean almondine, glazed carrots, and others. Dessert is assorted cupcakes. 

Call to order and choose a pick-up time by Wednesday.

Bella’Gio, Cheshire: 

In addition to the regular menu, Easter specials include calamari salad, lamb shank, short rib ravioli, and honey-glazed ham which comes with fresh pineapple, Brussells sprouts, carrots and mashed potatoes. Prices range from $18 to $25.

Nataz, Southington: 

Easter menu is $12.99 per person. Your choice of roasted leg of lamb or bourbon and honey cured ham for the family, with sides of whipped Yukon gold potatoes, mushroom gorgonzola green beans, pizzagaina/Easter pie, and carrot cake. Served family style.

Sassy Mama Sweets, Southington: 

Menu includes flavored cupcakes like peeps funfetti, carrot, lemon blueberry and Oreo; Easter bunny character cake, apple bombs, mini cannoli, cannoli dip, pies and quiche. 

Easter cookie decorating kits are also available, pre-order and pre-pay only. Kits include six cookies, four icing bags, and assorted sprinkles. $22 each.

Free delivery to Southington & Plainville with a minimum of $25. Deliveries out of town subject to delivery fee. Deliveries are for Saturday only.

Curbside pickup and discounted UPS local delivery available this year. Products range from chocolate Easter eggs, mini chocolate bunnies, chocolate rabbits, marshmallow eggs, jelly beans and Jordan almonds. Order online or by calling.

Alyssa’s Cakery,Wallingford

Menu includes Easter-themed cupcakes, like Reese’s Egg and Cadbury Egg, themed cake pops and chocolate-dipped treats. Cake and cupcake decorating kits also available.
