North Haven Garden Club members participate in townwide cleanup



Several members of the North Haven Garden Club participated in the North Haven Conversation Commissions Town Wide Clean-up to celebrate Earth Day 2021. Members who took part and cleaned the area of litter, bottles, snack pack wrappers, wipes, masks, broken glass, packing materials, etc.  Areas cleaned by members at Memorial Field, the parking lot behind the Stop and Shop gas station and the entire field and back parking lot off Peck Street, were Gerri Giordano, Cindy Golia, Cindy Adinolfi, Keith Lombardo, Lynda O'Donnell, Marge Quinn, and Diana Ramadei, Maria Yankura.  Member Sue Dannenhoffer cleaned the Broadway center island garden, the Lois Stover Pollinator Garden, the Colonial Garden, Library Gardens and parking lot and Linsley St. Mini Kumar cleaned the recreation field behind the Town Hall Annex building and parking lot. NHGC member Fran Notaro was the coordinator for the event sending townspeople to designated areas to be cleaned.
