Tech Boosts donation will enable Club to purchase technology equipment that supports and broadens their mission in the community
Cox Communications has awarded $30,000 in “Tech Boosts” grants to community organizations across the company’s Northeast footprint, including the Boys and Girls Club of Meriden in Meriden. In 2020, two organizations will receive $15,000 each to use for the purchase of various technology equipment, from 3-D printers to high-tech cameras.
Despite the important work nonprofits and community organizations do in the communities they serve, many are lacking the modern technology tools needed to perform their missions to the fullest. To bridge this technology gap, Cox launched the “Tech Boosts” program, which awards grants to nonprofit groups committed to investing in technology equipment for the betterment of its patrons and mission.
