CCALC Program

On April 13, Justin Piccirillo, Meriden historian, presented the program “The Early Days of Meriden: From Separation to a World Headquarters”, to Castle Craig Adult Learning Center (CCALC). Since its inception almost 400 years ago, Meriden has influenced the world in a variety of aspects from manufacturing to sports and from art to politics. Justin took us on a journey on the origins of Meriden from its earliest days as a part of the New Haven Colony, up to its incorporation in 1806. Additionally, he offered tips and techniques on how we all can continue our Meriden research through books and other resources.
