North Haven Garden Club had its March meeting on Thursday, March 9, at the North Haven Congregational Church, across from the green, at 7:30 p.m. Program was on "Lawn Care" with Dr. Yonghao Li. Dr Li holds a B.S. in Plant Protection and both a Master's Degree and PHD in Plant Pathology. his primary responsibility is the daily oversight of the Plant Disease information Office at The Connecticut agricultural Station in New Haven.

Dr. Li's presentation focused on how to improve our lawns with the right seed mix, fertilizer, and proper mowing.
