Dr. Thomas Finn, Clinical Psychologist on staff at the Franciscan Life Center, is presenting two educational enrichment programs in the spring of 2023.

Parenting Classes - April 12 and 13, from 7 until 8:30 p.m. Classes are designed to help parents learn techniques to help raise responsible and cooperative children. The class is geared toward parents with children 13 years of age and younger. The Cost is $45 per person or $60 per couple.

Anxiety Workshops - May 24 and 31 and June 7, 14, 21, and 28, 7 to 8:30 p.m. This six-week psycho-educational program provides basic tools for managing anxiety including relaxation techniques and improved thinking styles based on the principles of Cognitive-behavioral Therapy, a highly effective therapeutic method for anxiety reduction.

Participants age 16 and over are welcome. The Cost is $50 for each session. These events will take place in the San Damiano Room of the Chiara Center, 275 Finch Ave., Meriden. For more information, visit flcenter.org or call 203-237-8084.
