The James H. Napier Foundation Is Committed To Supporting Non – Profit Organizations

The James H. Napier Foundation is committed to supporting non – profit organizations meet the existing and emerging needs of children, youth and families living in the Meriden and Wallingford communities.  As the President of the Napier Company, a prominent international jewelry manufacturer located in Meriden, James H. Napier was firmly committed to supporting local non-profits and giving back to the communities where the company employees worked and lived. For this reason, he and the Napier Company Board of Directors established the Napier Foundation in January 1955.

Since then, the Foundation has gifted over $13 million in grants to organizations in Meriden and Wallingford. The Trustees are pleased to announce the Fall 2021 grantees: Wallingford Public Library Association, Nutmeg Big Brothers, Big Sisters, Wallingford YMCA, Ulbrich Boys and Girls Club, Spanish Community of Wallingford, United Way of Meriden/Wallingford, Autism Spectrum and Resource Center, and Beat the Street, Inc. The Foundation looks forward to working with these organizations to achieve their goals while enhancing and engaging members of our communities.
