Students in Mrs. LeClair's Biology and Ecology classes learn about duck growth from incubated eggs. Students watched over the eggs for 6 weeks as they were incubated. The students measured temperature as the incubator rotated the eggs continuously. The ducklings hatched and are being cared for by students under Mrs. LeClair's supervision. This was an excellent way to enhance teaching and learning in the classroom under a new science curriculum. The equipment was acquired through donorschoose.org.
