Road Race for a Cause

Road Race for a Cause

Set your calendars: The 8th Annual North Haven Rotary and Tessa Marie Memorial 5k & Walk is Sunday, Nov. 10, at the North Haven High School. Registration begins at 8 a.m. The 1-mile walk and road race both kick off at 10 a.m. As always, all proceeds benefit community charities and causes. Half of the proceeds go towards children in need, while the remaining 50 percent will go towards other local charities. This year, the committee will donate 50 percent of the net proceeds to the newly opened Ulbrich Boys & Girls Club of North Haven. Proceeds will go towards program supplies for the game room. Register now by searching for "North Haven" on Active.com. Stick around after the race for the Rotary's annual Pancake Breakfast in the middle school.
