The Scarecrows are coming soon to the North Haven Green!  The contest will be open to all ages, families and businesses. Come join the fun and show us your fall spirit with a scarecrow display. Contest will run form Oct. 21 to Nov. 4. On Oct. 28, join the North Haven Garden Club for a Pumpkin Carving Contest and Costume Parade, registration is required for the pumpkin carving contest and scarecrow contest.

Gathered on the green, the scarecrows will come

To scare away the crows and to  have some fun.

Some will be hard at work, tending to the garden

Others will be waving to passersby in the chilly autumn breezes,

Then there's those that come just to bask in the sun.

How will your scarecrow join the fray?

Standing tall or hanging around? Blowing in the breeze?

Sitting or relaxing on a bale of hay?
