Walmart Foundation Donates to Local Charity



Ability Beyond has announced a charitable contribution of $1,000 from the Walmart of Southington. A nonprofit organization, Ability Beyond serves individuals with physical, mental, and developmental disabilities throughout the greater Southington area. The donation will support Ability Beyond’s 130 group homes and program sites.

Walmart’s generous donation to Ability Beyond’s services and programs will help to connect people with disabilities and mental illness to jobs, housing, transportation, clinical resources, social networks, and their personal goals. Ability Beyond is grateful to the Walmart Foundation for supporting their mission to discover, build and celebrate the ability in all people.
