The CWPN.Org is a non-profit organization dedicated to the needs and education of our Connecticut and surrounding areas’ Wiccan and Pagan community. Our beliefs are that of honoring and revering the natural cycles of the Earth and Universe, and of the Goddess and of the God in their many facets and forms. We do this by having events for each of the eight Sabbats, which are opened to our community and like-minded people, and during these occasions, we perform open circles to honor Deity.
Our next event is Imbolc, more famously known as “Candlemas.” Imbolc is the celebration of the coming Spring, the renewal life, and the growing light of the Sun. Though the chill of Winter is still upon us, life is stirring deep within the ground, ready to burst forth when Spring comes! Our event will be celebrated on Sunday, Feb. 5, from 12 to 3:30 p.m., at the Southington Community Cultural Center, (SoCCA), 93 Main St., Southington. We will be hosting vendors selling their wares, card readers doing their craft, and a workshop, there will also be a Kid’s Craft table for the children, as well. Stay for a Potluck and our Imbolc Ritual.
We are extending an invitation to attend this event to all Wiccans and Pagans, and to people who are of like-mind. Seating and ticket availability is limited, so we are requesting that you pre-register at www.Eventleaf.com, CWPN Imbolc, before this event takes place. Visit us on our website at, CWPN.Org, or on Facebook, for more information about our organization, and of this, and all of our events throughout 2023.
