The Greater Meriden Branch of the American Association of University Women is pleased to announce Crystal Rodriguez was honored at their May dinner as the recipient of their 2023 mentorship grant.

The purpose of this program is to encourage young women who have shown academic potential to attend college.

Crystal was selected for the AAUW mentorship program in the spring of 2016 when she was in fifth grade.

She graduated from Maloney High School and will be attending Southern Connecticut State University pursuing a degree in nursing. Crystal received a $1,000 scholarship.
