Roger Sherman School celebrates Principal Moss

In lieu of a retirement party that has not been able to happen just yet, on Tuesday, June 2, the staff at Roger Sherman Elementary School in Meriden celebrated the retirement of Louise Moss with a surprise parking lot party. Moss has served the Meriden Public Schools for 30 years. She began as a teacher at Nathan Hale before becoming the instructional assistant at Roger Sherman. She was principal at Roger Sherman before becoming principal at Thomas Hooker for six years. She is ending her career at Roger Sherman where she began, after two more years of service there. The staff celebrated her with signs, decorated cars, and loud cheering from the Roger Sherman parking lot. They also celebrated her with a slideshow of notes to her on the day of her final virtual staff meeting. Moss will be greatly missed by Meriden Public Schools and all who had the pleasure of working with her!
