American Association Of University Women High School Scholarships Winners

The Greater Meriden Branch of the American Association of University Women has announced the recipients of their 2021 high school scholarships. This year the AAUW has awarded four $1,500.

Congratulations to these outstanding students: Emma Szymaszek from Maloney High School will be attending the University of Rhode Island majoring in medical sciences, Samantha Bergeron from Platt High School wil be attending the University of Connecticut majoring in pharmacy, Ellery Campbell from Lyman Hall High School will be attending Brown University majoring in economics and Peter Borzillo from Sheehan High School will be attending Southern Connecticut State University majoring in social work.

The scholarship committee would like to thank the members for their generous donations to the scholarship fund. The money raised this year made it possible to fully fund the AAUW scholarship program even though we were unable to have our annual Book Author Luncheon.
