Successful Pop Up Raises Funds for Wallingford Garden Club

The Wallingford Garden Club had a successful pop-up mart at the Wallingford Public Library on Tuesday, Dec. 14.  The event, the first ever, took place because the holiday tea was cancelled for the second year in a row due to COVID.

Funds raised at the event, which featured centerpieces, holiday fresh flower arrangements and wreaths, support the WGC scholarship and maintenance of public gardens such as Pond Hill, the historical society herb garden, and the Gazebo Garden.

The WGC is a member of the Federated Garden Clubs of Connecticut and the New England Garden Club, Inc.  It is also a member of the National Garden Clubs, Inc.
