Apple Pie Monkey Bread a fall treat

Now that it is officially fall and prime time for apple picking, I decided to find a recipe for my favorite fall fruit.

You will need: Three 8 ounce cans of refrigerated biscuits, one cup of sugar, one teaspoon of apple pie spice, two apples – peeled, cored and diced – and one half cup of butter, melted.

To make: Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Cut biscuits into quarters and place in a large bowl. Combine sugar and apple pie spice in a separate bowl. Take a handful of biscuit pieces at a time, roll them in the sugar mix until all the pieces are coated. Add apple pieces to coated biscuit pieces and gently mix to incorporate. Spray a bundt pan and fill with the mixture. Pour the melted butter over the top.

Bake for 30 minutes or until the top is a deep golden color. Let cool for five minutes, then invert onto a serving plate and enjoy!
