National Linguine Day is Friday, Sept. 15. Linguine is one of the world’s oldest kinds of pasta, from the Liguria region of Italy. It is made from durum semolina flour, and is a thin, flat, narrower and more elliptical shaped noodle. It is typically paired with thinner, lighter sauces.
