Fire officials investigate car fire in Meriden

MERIDEN — Fire officials are investigating a car fire on State Street Friday afternoon.

The fire was reported about 3:15 p.m. near Camp Street. Fire officials said the fire started in the car’s engine.

A section of State Street was closed.
