MERIDEN Fall started with cool and wet weather which will continue into this week. Here’s what to expect in the forecast this week according to the National Weather Service.
Temperature Trends:
For many of the days this week we will be seeing cloudy skies, showers and temperatures in the 60s during the day and dropping to the 40s & 50s overnight. There is a Hazardous Weather Outlook for Monday night with a slight risk of flash flooding.
Will we get any precipitation?
Monday there is a 90% chance of precipitation during the day with widespread fog. It’s estimated that a quarter and half of an inch of precipitation is possible. During the evening it will be cloudy, with a 20% chance of precipitation.
Thursday evening will be mostly cloudy, with a 30% chance of precipitation.
Friday there is a 30% chance of precipitation during the day as well as the evening.
Will it be windy?
Monday may contain northeast wind 10 to 13 mph during the day and northeast wind 9 to 11 mph, with gusts as high as 21 mph during the evening.
Tuesday may contain northeast wind 10 to 13 mph during the day and north wind around 7 mph during the evening.
Wednesday may contain northeast wind around 9 mph during the day.

Pull out your long sleeves, jackets or vests and definitely keep your raincoat, rain boots and umbrellas close.

At this moment, it looks like a relatively sunny weekend with highs in the 70s during the day and dropping to the 50s at night.
