Meriden police investigating after ATM stolen from local business

MERIDEN — Police are investigating after an ATM was stolen from a local business early Tuesday.  

Police responded to Quick Pik, 692 E. Main St., around 1:55 a.m. for a report of an alarm, according to a police report. Officers found the front glass door was broken and an ATM inside the business was taken, Sgt. Michael Boothroyd said Wednesday. 

The case is being investigated by the detective bureau, Boothroyd said.
