Crews from Eversource seen on South Broad Street, repairing power lines that were damaged Monday afternoon. The outage left 205 customers, including the Record-Journal, without power that afternoon.

MERIDEN — More than 200 Eversource customers around South Broad Street were without electrical power after utility lines were damaged during a weather storm on Monday.

Eversource reported 205 outages, which began just after 4 p.m. Power was restored shortly after 6 p.m.

Police blocked off South Broad Street while utility crews worked to restore power.
