New Britain man charged with shooting in Meriden last year

MERIDEN — A New Britain man was arrested on Thursday for allegedly shooting a man in the leg last year.

Daniel Oslander, 33, of 104 Rockwell Ave., New Britain, was charged with first-degree assault and criminal possession of a firearm.

The shooting occurred on Feb. 13, 2020 in Meriden, police said in a statement Thursday.

Oslander is being held on $500,000 bond, police said.
