Pair charged after officers find drugs in Meriden home



MERIDEN — A local couple faces drug charges after police served a search warrant Friday at a Summer Street home.

Amy Tomlinson, 41, of 19 Summer St., was charged Friday with operation of a drug factory, three counts each of possession of narcotics and possession of narcotics with intent to sell and one count of possession of less than half an ounce of marijuana. 

Adam Bland, 29, of 525 Crown St.,Bld 10, Apt. 197, was charged with operation of a drug factory, three counts each of possession of narcotics and possession with intent to sell. 

Officers entered 19 Summer St. home around 5 a.m. and found Tomlinson and Bland. Police seized 60 tablets of ecstasy, two plastic baggies with crack cocaine, marijuana, $63 in cash, a Daisy Powerline 415 BB gun, and a digital scale, according to a police report. 

Bland and Tomlinson were arraigned in Meriden Superior Court on Friday. The judge set bond at $5,000 for Tomlinson and $150,000 for Bland.
