MERIDEN — A woman faces a DUI charge after police said she was involved in a wrong-way crash on Route 15 early Monday.

Alma Robledo, 19, of 26 Roosevelt St., Hartford, was charged with driving under the influence of drugs and/or alcohol, driving the wrong way on a divided highway and driving without a license.

State police responded to Route 15 north by exit 67W around 1:20 a.m. for a report of a collision. Police investigating determined Robledo was driving a vehicle headed south on the northbound side of the highway. Robledo struck the front end of another vehicle and was determined to be at fault in the crash, according to police reports. There were no injuries reported.

Robledo said she was smoking marijuana and failed field sobriety tests, police said. She was taken into custody and later released on $1,000 bond. She is scheduled to appear in Meriden Superior Court on June 24.
